Year 6 Open Evening
Thursday 26th September 2019, 6.00 - 8.00pm at Farringdon Community Academy
Parents considering enrolment of students are always welcome to visit the school. In September we hold a public meeting at Farringdon Community Academy. Invitations are sent to parents of Year 6 students in our feeder primary schools. Other parents can obtain details by telephoning the school. The Open Evening allows parents to view the school and meet staff and existing students informally.
Each year we run a wide-ranging and intensive transition / induction programme for new students and their parents.
Admission to Secondary School information is sent to parents via primary and junior schools. However, details about school admission can be found at www.sunderland.gov.uk/admissionsonline. An Admission to Secondary School Booklet 2018 – 2019 can also be found on this web page. Copies are also available in school.
