KS3 Food Curriculum(pdf)

Food Technology
Food Technology covers the areas of food preparation and nutrition. Students in year 7 currently have two hours per week which is shared with Design Technology whilst in years 8 and 9 students currently have one hour a week which is also shared with Design Technology. In Food technology we aim to provide students with knowledge and skills which they can use creatively to produce a range of products. The main focus of these products is for students to follow healthy eating guidelines and produce dishes in a safe and hygienic way. We try to offer a curriculum that all students will enjoy and provide them with skills that they can value and use throughout their lives.
