BBC News Report 2017 - Big Bang FAir

The Big Bang Fair

On Wednesday 15th March a group of year 10 students, that take triple science, went to Birmingham NEC for the Big Bang Fair. We spent all day looking at jobs that involve science and maths. One of the main jobs the fair was talking about was engineering, all the way from biomedical to mechanical. There were many stalls all around the hall promoting different jobs and companies. Throughout the day there was 2 shows on, one called Body hacking and another called DO try this at home. There was a range of activates that you could take part in, for example: Using a soldering iron to make a circuit for a keyboard or a badge with flashing lights. It was a long day and traveling took a will but it was all worth it in the end and everyone including the members of staff enjoyed the day.
