BBC News Report 2017 - Comic Relief

Comic Relief!

As most people will know, on the 24th of March, it is comic relief and Farringdon Community Academy is holding various events to raise money for comic relief. These events include: a swimathon, tombola, cake sale and joke competition. Those wanting to take part in these events only have to bring in a little money to support the charity or wanting to be involved in setting up these events will contact Mrs Johnson to get a letter.
Comic Relief is an operating British charity, founded in 1985 by the comedy scriptwriter Richard Curtis and comedian Lenny Henry in response to famine in Ethiopia. Farringdon Community Academy is hoping to collect money for this fund.  All students in Farringdon will be wearing their own clothes as well as donating £1.00 to Comic Relief.
